Dog Restaurant and Factory


This is shocking and some people in North America still believe this is a myth.

Dogs are tortured, made to suffer, and are brutally killed for dog meat.
They are purposely slaughtered in front of other dogs, to increase their fear and stress level- as this is supposed to enhance the flavor and increase the adrenaline in their meat, which according to Chinese, boosts virility.
Actual physical torture, boiling them alive and bleeding them out slowly, are other routine methods used for this purpose.
Dogs are frequently kept in cages outside of restaurants and markets until selected for slaughter, at which time, it is common for this to occur in public view, right on the street. The others are driven off for slaughter.
About half of the dogs that are stuffed into small cages for transportation die of starvation and dehydration.
Many of these dead dogs are passed off as being alive and are slaughtered nonetheless. The dogs that do survive this horrific journey are made to suffer even more as they are transported directly to illegal slaughterhouses.
There they are removed from their cramped cages using looped poles and bashed in the head several times with the pole until they become unconscious. They are then slashed in the throat at the location of the jugular vein so that the blood that gushes out can be collected and then sold. Following this, the dog’s body is placed over a fire to burn its fur. The dog is finally cut into however many desired pieces for sale to restaurants and public wet markets.
